WEBSTER CITY, Iowa -- August 12, 2005 -- Beam Industries announces Bryan Mishler has been appointed builder sales manager to lead efforts aimed at priming 75 percent of all new homes for central vacuum systems by 2010. The company also announces the appointment of Brady Boyd as builder sales territory manager. “Consumers are rapidly embracing central vacuum systems because of their indoor air quality benefits and powerful cleaning capabilities,” says Paul Runyan, Beam’s general manager for U.S. sales. “Bryan and his team will provide sales and training support so more builders will meet consumers’ needs.” Mishler brings 10 years of Beam experience to the post. He previously served as a territory sales manager for the Northeast and Midwest and most recently as business development manager, working with national electronics and home product distributors. He succeeds Joe Kopriva who has assumed a key management post with a leading national integrated home electronics company. Boyd is returning to Beam after spending three years in builder-focused sales. His earlier career at Beam included work in production and as a territory manager for New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. He succeeds Bill Smith who will join Kopriva at the home electronics firm. Runyan says Mishler and Boyd join Tom Osboe and Tony Orcutt on a builder sales team working to achieve an ambitious goal to have three-fourths of all new homes primed for central vacuum systems by the end of the decade. “Bryan and his team will bring building industry knowledge and energy to help Beam achieve a very ambitious goal,” adds Runyan. Headquartered in Webster City, Iowa, Beam Industries is a division of Electrolux Home Care Products, Ltd., and is the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of central vacuum systems. Beam products are sold in more than 50 countries around the world. For more information, visit www.beamvac.com.
